Program Information 2009
All programs are now closed.
Priority registration is given to youth living in the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
PARENT AND YOUTH LEARN TO ROW:
A unique opportunity for a parent and child to experience the thrill of rowing together. This program is open to one adult and one child (age 10 to 15) per family. The week long program will culminate in a special "race day" festivities. Parents don't miss out, sign up and join the fun!
Dates: June 29 - July 3 Program runs 8:15AM to 9:15AM
YOUTH LEARN TO ROW:
Dates: June 29 - July 3 (10 to 15 years old) Program runs 9:30AM to 10:30AM July 6 - July 10 (10 to 15 years old) Program runs 8:00AM to 9:00AM July 20 - July 24 (10 to 15 years old) Program runs 8:00AM to 9:00AM July 27 - July 31 (13 to 15 year olds only) Program runs 8:00AM to 9:00AM
7TH AND 8TH GRADE PROGRAM: This three week program is ONLY open to boys and girls who have taken the Yale Community Rowing Youth Learn to Row program and will be entering grade 7 or 8 in the fall of 2009.
Dates: July 13 - July 31 Program runs 9:00AM to 10:00AM
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM: Open to boys and girls enrolled in high school who have taken last year's middle school program or have at least two years of rowing experience. Regular attendance is required. In order to accommodate the ever increasing interest participants may register for only one of the two sessions. Limited to 45 participants per session. Priority registration for this program will be given to students from high schools located in the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
- June 29 - July 10.
- July 13 - July 31 (focus on fitness - competitive).
Programs run 6:45AM to 8:00AM
