Ironically Chico's story begins with Handsome Dan the XV. Last November my family and I were at the Yale Bowl when we noticed Handsome Dan pacing the sideline. Louis was kind enough to take a picture with me. (see attached) Meeting Louis at his last bowl game inspired us to buy the best English bulldog we could find. We believe this may be destiny as Chico was born within a week of meeting Louis. Chico comes from a great pedigree and has a wonderful temperament, especially around children. In just five months Chico has learned many commands such as, sit, lie down, and shake hands. I'm sure with a little training Chico can learn to tear up the likes of anything with a Harvard name on it! We have a great appreciation for the history of Yale's beloved mascot. Chico would bring great joy to all of the fans he meets and luck to our players. It would be a tremendous honor to have Chico become the next Handsome Dan...
