From Owner Peter Schmidtke:

After I read the requirements for this contest for the next Handsome Dan, I knew that my dog, Mojo, was the perfect choice. Mojo is a three year old female English Bulldog. She is brown and white, and her markings on her back are very nice (one is a circle and the other looks like a square!) But her markings are not what makes her stand out to everyone that passes by her. She is absolutely the friendliest dog that you will ever meet! There is not a day that goes by that I don't take her somewhere and people flock to see her. And she just eats it up! She gets very excited. She just loves to be around people. Sometimes my family jokes around that she actually thinks she is a person. She gets so excited when she sees people, she does what we call the "butt dance" (she shakes her behind and looks like she's dancing!), and it's very cute to see.

My fiance used to bring her to the day care center that she used to work at. Mojo absolutely loved it! That's when we first realized how good she is with kids. She loves attention, and has never met anyone that she wouldn't let pet her. Last year I moved into a new condo and I literally knew no one in the area (new town, new everything!). One day I looked out the window and I thought my new neighbors were coming over to meet me. Wrong! They were knocking on my door to ask if they could meet my dog because they thought she was so cute just from seeing her outside with me and sitting at our back sliding glass door. They liked Mojo so much, they eventually went out and bought an English Bulldog puppy (making sure it had the same coloring as Mojo). Every week, they come over just to visit my dog! (pictures honestly don't even fully show how good looking of a bulldog she is). Even when I bring her to the pet st! ore and there's a ton of cute puppies, Mojo always has a crowd around her and people asking if she is going to have puppies (unfortunately for them, she is fixed).

Mojo walks very well on a leash, she really doesn't mind it at all, just as long as she can be around people! She is also the kind of dog that listens so well, I could walk her around my condo complex without a leash if I chose, and she would listen to me the whole time. She is in very good shape, some people can't believe how muscular her legs look.

I think Mojo would make the perfect Handsome Dan! You will never meet a more people friendly and social dog! (She's working on hating the color red too!)
