Event Set For Wednesday At Yale Golf Course
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – In partnership with the national non-profit Positive Coaching Alliance, Yale University presents Honoring the Game, a panel of five prominent Yale coaches who will speak on Character Building Youth Sports Experience.
The event is Wednesday, June 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Yale Golf Course, 200 Conrad Drive in New Haven.
The Yale Champion Coaches Panel features Keith Allain, Malcolm G. Chace Head Coach of Men Ice Hockey, Erin Appleman, head coach of volleyball, College Football Hall of Fame coach Carm Cozza, who guided the Bulldogs from 1965 to 1996, James Jones, Joel E. Smilow ’54 Head Coach of Men’s Basketball, Tony Reno, Joel E. Smilow ’54 Head Coach of Football and Andy Shay, Head Coach of Men’s Lacrosse.
Jack Ford ’72, a former Yale football player and currently a CBS News Legal Analyst, will serve as the moderator.
Positive Coaching Alliance is a national non-profit developing “Better Athletes, Better People” by working to provide all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.
