Welcome to the Yale Tennis Association!

The purpose of this association is to provide alumni and friends of Yale Athletics
information about Yale Tennis as well as creating a support network for current
student athletes. Through the offering of career networking and job placement,
hosting of special events including receptions, alumni/alumnae games, golf outings,
and the raising of money to support Yale Athletics, the Yale Tennis Association
enhances the experience between Yale Athletics and the alumni community. 

HOW TO JOIN/MAKE A GIFT

To join the Yale Tennis Association or to make a gift please CLICK HERE and follow the instructions below:

• You will be directed to Yale's online giving mechanism - Giving to Yale. This is the website which allows for online enrollment in athletic team associations as well as donations to Yale for other purposes.  
• Follow the instructions to Make a Gift or Pledge Payment By Credit Card Now
• You will then be asked to designate your gift type (i.e. New Gift)
• Next you will be asked to designate what you would like your donation to Support. If you are making a donation for the purpose of joining an association or simply making a donation to a specific Sport, select "Specific Sport" - this will prompt a drop down menu for you to select the specific sport you would like to support.
• Note: If your donation falls within the thresholds designated by your association, you will automatically be enrolled in the association. If your donation qualifies for parking or other benefits, you will be contacted by a member of the athletic association to specify these aspects of your membership.

MAILING A GIFT:

Checks should be made payable to Yale University and should include the sport association you wish to have your contribution directed towards. Gifts or pledges can be made by calling (203) 432-1434 or mailing payment to:

Yale Celebrates 40 Years of Women's Tennis at Association Dinner

NEW YORK, N.Y. ? More than 120 student-athletes, alumni and friends gathered at the Yale Club of New York City on Apr. 29 to celebrate 40 years of women's tennis at Yale at the annual Yale Tennis Association Dinner.

Yale Tennis Association President Thomas Hartch '63 served as MC for the evening, which included a number of speakers, including the Cary Leeds Coach of Men's Tennis Alex Dorato, men's tennis captain Calvin Bennett, women's head coach Danielle Lund McNamara and women's captain Stevi Petrelli.

The dinner concluded with a panel of Yale women's tennis alumnae who took the stage for a question and answer session. The panel included Debbie Peck '77, Andrea Rice '89, Naomi Zeff '99 and Janet Kim '09. Dorato served as the moderator for the alumnae panel. Student-athletes, alumni and friends listened to stories and words of wisdom from these panel members. Guests enjoyed hearing about the change that Yale women's tennis has been through in the past 40 years.

"The YTA dinner was an amazing celebration of women's tennis at Yale," said McNamara. "The attendance was outstanding and it was so special to see so many women's tennis alums from the last 40 years connecting with each other and our current team.  The future of Yale women's tennis looks very bright and I'm hopeful that this dinner with be a jumping point to get even more women's tennis alums involved in our program."
