The primary goal of the Yale strength and conditioning department is to maximize athletic potential while minimizing the risk of injury. We aim to develop our student-athletes in mind and body through personalized team programs as well as nutritional education. Constant communication with sport coaches and athletic trainers is imperative in creating a holistic approach to improving our student-athletes’ well being.
The Yale strength and conditioning staff utilizes a variety of methods, including Olympic lifting, power lifts, unilateral training, core training, plyometrics, speed & agility, high-intensity & steady state conditioning, and stability & mobility exercises to accommodate all aspects of the training paradigm.
