No. 1 Bulldogs Disperse Across New England Before Conference Champs

NEW HAVEN, CONN. – The Bulldogs head to four different events this weekend all over New England. This is the last weekend of competition before the fleet racing conference championship at Brown. The Elis then will be looking to hone in on their skills and finalize anything they've been working on throughout the season this weekend in order to make sure that they're ready for next weekend's qualifier. The regattas are the Admiral's Cup at King's Point, the Boston Dinghy Cup at MIT, the Morris Trophy at Boston University and the Priddy Trophy in Fairfield.

Conditions for the weekend across New England look much better than those of the past few weeks. Finally some warm temperatures (50s) might meet the sailors and potentially some much needed sun. The wind looks like it will be decently strong on Saturday and slightly lighter on Sunday from the Northwest.

Sailing at the Admiral's will be skippers junior Nic Baird and first year Shawn Harvey and crews seniors KB Knapp and Christopher Champa and first year Sonia Lingos Utley.

At the BDC will be skippers Malcolm Lamphere, Chrissie Klingler and Nicholas Marwell with crews Kira Woods, Becca Rose and Cate Mollerus.

At the Morris, skippers Patrick Buehler and Martin Tipton will be sailing with crews Kathryn Clulo and Mina Cezairli.

Finally, at the Priddy, a first year team of Jonathan Schwartz, Liviu Mosnoi, Emery Wallace and Kathleen Wells will travel to the closest college venue to Yale. This even only takes place on Saturday.
