NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning of Saturday's 15-1 victory over Harvard, junior left-hander Vinny Lally has been honored by the Ivy League as its co-Pitcher of the Week. Lally allowed just three hits and one earned run in seven innings of work to earn his team-best sixth win of the season.
On the season, Lally is 6-2 with a 4.93 earned run average. The southpaw, who faced the minimum through 3.1 innings on Saturday, has 47 strikeouts in a team-best 49.1 innings of work. In Ancient Eight play, Lally is 2-2 with a 4.67 ERA.
