WEST HAVEN, Conn. - After a dominating outing at Dartmouth, Chris Lanham earned weekly honors with both Ivy League Sports and College Sports Madness.
Lanham's line in his Dartmouth win was seven innings (complete game), four hits, no runs, no walks, and four strikeouts.
Lanham was named Ivy League Co-Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. It is the third consecutive Pitcher of the Week Award for Yale, as Chris Moates won the award last week. Ivy League Sports notes that Lanham is the first Yale pitcher to recieve the award twice in a season since Josh Sowers '05 in 2005.
Lanham was also named College Sports Madness Ivy League Player of the Week. He is the first Yale player to recieve the honor since the award was created for the 2012 season.
