Ray Guarino recently completed his third season on Coach Stuper's staff in 2012. Guarino arrived at Yale after a successful run as an assistant coach at West Haven High School, where he helped lead the Westies to the Connecticut State High School Championship in 2009. Guarino works with the Bulldog infielders and outfielders in addition to coaching first base.

Guarino also teaches seventh grade at St. Francis in New Haven and coaches boys' soccer at West Haven High. He is a 2000 graduate of Southern Connecticut State with a B.A. in history. He lives in West Haven with his wife, Jackie.

Stuper Says: “I have known Ray for over 15 years now, and I have seen him grow from a student-athlete who worked my summer camp to an accomplished coach in his own right. I am excited about the energy he brings to our program.”
