Kevin Huber recently completed his third season at Yale in
2012. He has nearly a decade’s worth of collegiate, high
school and club coaching experience. Prior to joining the Yale
staff, Huber spent four seasons as the defensive and hitting coach
at Fairfield. He also coached at the University of New Haven,
where he helped guide the Chargers to a 2004 NYCAC
Championship.
Huber, who has also coached scholastically at Greens Farms (Conn.)
Academy, is the founder of the Connecticut Blue Jays Baseball Club
and has led the squad to several top-10 finishes in AAU national
tournaments.
Huber is a 2000 graduate of the University of Bridgeport, where he
played for four years with the Purple Knights. The former All-NECC
player also played professionally in 2001 with the Zurich Lions in
Switzerland as a catcher and infielder. He resides in Bridgeport,
Conn., with his wife, Celina, and children, Timothy and
Sara.
