2009 marked the second season for Tucker Frawley as an assistantcoach on John Stuper's staff. His main duties at Yale includecoaching the hitting corps, preparing the team defense and guidingthe program's recruiting efforts. A graduate of the College of theHoly Cross, Frawley graduated as the school's all-time leader incareer hits in 2006. He was a three-time All-Patriot Leagueselection at second base for the Crusaders, including a juniorseason in which he hit .409, ranking him 17th nationally. He is athree-time Hop Riopel Award recipient, an award given to theCrusaders' most valuable player, making him one of two players toearn the distinction on three occasions. Frawley was named All-NewEngland in both 2005 and 2006 and was named to the ABCA/RawlingsAll-Northeast Region team in 2006.
A New Haven native, Frawley signed professional contracts withthe Worcester Tornadoes (CanAm League) in 2006 and the EvansvilleOtters (Frontier League) in 2007 before returning to the Elm Cityto begin his coaching career. His younger brother Casey wasrecently selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 17th round of the2009 MLB Draft.
