2008: Shared the Paul Sortal Award with Dan Soltman...Earned second team All-Ivy recognition as a utility player...Started games at five different positions, including a span where he started at four different positions in four consecutive games...Made 18 starts at first base, 14 in left field, five at second base, two at third base and two on the mound...Hit .345 with 51 hits, the second-highest total on the team, and 17 RBIs...Hit .359 in Ivy League play...Got at least one hit in 20 of the final 21 games and ended the season on a 12-game hitting streak...Went 2-for-5 with two doubles, his second consecutive two-hit game, at Radford on March 21...Had three hits and scored twice in the first game of a doubleheader at Penn on March 29...Belted the game-winning hit, a walk-off single, to give Yale a come-from-behind 6-5 victory in game two to sweep a doubleheader against Cornell (April 6)...Went 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in the nightcap of a twinbill with Fairfield on April 16...Also had three hits in game one in the doubleheader at Dartmouth (April 20)...Struck out the side against Appalachian State in his first pitching appearance of the season (March 8)...Got the start on the mound at No. 5 South Carolina on March 11 and earned the win after giving up one run and three hits with four strikeouts in five innings...With a runner on and the Bulldogs leading 3-1, struck out All-American Justin Smoak looking to end the bottom of the fifth.

2007: Shared the Coach's Award with Ryan Lavarnway...Emerged as one of the most versatile players on the team, seeing action on the mound, in the outfield and at second base...Became the Bulldogs' everyday right fielder over the final quarter of the season, starting nine of the final 12 games in the outfield when not pitching...Made seven starts and 11 appearances on the mound...Picked up relief wins at Richmond (March 12) and Furman (March 15) to earn a spot in the rotation...Suffered a tough-luck loss to Jacksonville State in his first start on March 20, giving up just one earned run in 5.2 innings of a 7-2 loss...Tied for the team lead with three wins, and finished second among Yale starters with a 5.76 ERA, 50 innings, and 41 strikeouts...Made a spectacular game-saving catch in left field with his back to the ball against Penn on April 6, a game the Bulldogs eventually lost in extra innings...Made first start in the outfield against Fairfield on April 18, and hit an RBI single in his first career at-bat...Whacked his first career extra-base hit, a triple, at Harvard on April 25, part of a 2-for-4 day in a 13-0 Yale rout.

2006: Appeared in eight games, making three starts...Struck out 14 batters in 13.2 innings...Picked up first collegiate win at Davidson (March 18)...Made first career start at Quinnipiac (April 3)...Allowed just one hit and no runs while striking out eight in five innings to earn the win vs. Sacred Heart (April 12).

Stuper Says: "Stefan is our captain and unquestioned leader of this team. He had a great year last year and I expect the same this season. Like a couple of his teammates, he is extremely versatile. He may play somewhere in the outfield or the infield. One thing is for sure: he will be in our lineup somewhere. He may hit anywhere from first to fourth. He is one of the best players in our league."
