Bulldogs Conclude Fall Season Under the Lights

NEW HAVEN, Conn.--The fall baseball season concludes on Friday when Yale hosts the University of New Haven under the lights in the Bulldogs' annual 16-inning game. The contest at Yale Field begins at 4 p.m.
The Bulldogs began the fall with a 7-3 win over New Haven in the semifinals of the City Series. Brandon Josselyn threw six strong innings to earn the win, and four freshmen in the Yale lineup went a combined 9-for-15. Yale dropped the City Series championship game to Quinnipiac, while New Haven fell to Southern Connecticut State in the consolation game.
Also on the upcoming calendar is the Yale Baseball Alumni Tailgate, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 before the Yale-Harvard football game. Free game tickets will be given to the first 400 people on-hand at the tailgate.
The 2008 Yale baseball regular season gets underway March 1-2 with a three-game series at George Washington. Yale's 2008 home opener is against Ivy League foe Princeton on April 5.
