Time Set For Yale’s Season Opener Against Quinnipiac In Connecticut 6 Classic

Bulldogs & Bobcats Will Meet In Third Game Of Tripleheader At Mohegan Sun Arena

ORANGE, Conn. – The Yale men's basketball team knew it would be opening the season against Quinnipiac in the Connecticut 6 Classic at the Mohegan Sun Arena. On Wednesday during a media event to promote the classic at the Race Brook Country Club, the Bulldogs learned they would be playing in the final game of the tripleheader. Fairfield and Sacred Heart will meet in the first game at 4 p.m. Hartford and Central Connecticut play the second game at 6 p.m. and Yale and Quinnipiac conclude the day at 8 p.m.

In addition to game times, the Connecticut 6 preseason poll was released. Yale was picked in a tie for fourth with Sacred Heart. Fairfield, which reached the championship game of the MAAC Tournament last year, was at the top of the poll, followed by Quinnipiac and Central Connecticut. Hartford rounded out the poll.
