Bulldogs Host Quinnipiac On Wednesday
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale learned on Friday that it would host Quinnipiac on Wednesday in the first round of the CollegeInsider Tournament (CIT). Now the Bulldogs know the rest of the 32-team field, which was announced on Sunday night.
Yale is one of three Ivy League teams in the tournament, joining Brown and Columbia. In all, there are teams from 18 different non-BCS conferences. East Carolina is the defending champion.
All 31 games are played on campus sites. Future round opponents are determined after the results of the previous round. The second round is slated for Mar. 21-22, the quarterfinals are Mar. 25-27, the semifinals are Apr. 1 and the championship game is Apr. 3. Both the semifinals and the championship game will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.

The Bulldogs and Bobcats will play at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Tickets are now available online at: https://athletics.ticketing.yale.edu/online/article/basketball. Prices are $8 - $10 for general admission, $10 - $15 for reserved, and $25 for floor seats. Yale students will receive free admission with their ID.
