Meet The Class of 2018 – Eric Anderson
James Jones, The Joel E. Smilow, Class of 1954 Head Coach of Men's Basketball, will welcome four freshmen to campus this fall. Before Yale: Two-time all-league selection at The Haverford School… Twice named to the all-tournament team at the Don McBride Classic and the Benedictine Capitol Classic… Averaged 14 points and eight rebounds as a senior… Spent his freshman season at Unionville High School… Helped Haverford reach the semifinals of the Pennsylvania Independent School Tournament in both his junior and senior seasons… Played for the Jersey Shore Warriors AAU team… Teammates with the Warriors included Colgate's Seth O'Brien, Iowa's Dom Uhl, Notre Dame's Stephen Vasturia and Fairfield's Steve Smith.
Personal: Father played football at West Chester University and later coached football at Duke… Son of Gary and Vail Anderson… Has an older sister, Keli.
