Position: Assistant Coach
Jim McCarthy returns for his third year at Yale. McCarthy spent two years as an assistant coach at Williams, where he helped lead the team to the 2002-03 NCAA Division III national title. During his tenure, Williams posted a 53-7 overall record. He helped develop one All-American, a Final Four Most Outstanding Player and three all-conference performers.

McCarthy is a 2001 graduate of Hamilton College where he was a four-year letterwinner. In addition, he was an All-UCAA selection in 2000 and the recipient of the Ned Doyle Award for leadership, athletic success and academic achievement. During his playing career, Hamilton went 70-37 and made the post-season four times, including two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances.
