Travis Pinick Named Ivy League Player Of The Week

HAMPTON, Va. - Travis Pinick, who recorded his first double-double of the season on Sunday against SEC foe Alabama, has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week. Pinick scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Bulldogs' hard-fought 66-63 loss to the Crimson Tide. He added two assists and three steals, including the 100th of his career.

After Yale fell behind by 18 points early in the second half, Pinick scored six straight points to spark a comeback that saw the Bulldogs get within one twice in the final minute.

Pinick leads the Bulldogs in rebounding (6.1 rpg.) and is third in scoring (8.6 ppg.).

Ross Morin, who had a team-high 20 points against Alabama, was named to the Honor Roll.

Yale plays at Hampton on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
