At Brunswick, James Tormey rowed in the first varsity boat for three years. His crew team won New Jersey State Championships in 2006. Tormey also played varsity basketball for three years and served as team captain during his senior year. He was twice an All-League selection in basketball and his team won the FAA title three years in a row. Tormey was named the Joseph Kozalka award winner after his senior season. At Yale, James is a senior in Saybrook College. He is a History major and hopes to go into either Sports Management or Finance after graduation.
