Varsity Eight to Race in Petite Final
CAMDEN, N.J. – Yale's varsity eight will race in Saturday's petite final after finishing fifth in the semifinal on the second day of competition at the IRA National Championships. The Yale second varsity will also row in tomorrow's petite final after finishing fifth in a seven-boat semifinal. The freshman eight and varsity four will row in the third-level finals.
Varsity Eight Semifinal
In the second of two second-varsity heats Yale also finished fifth. Harvard finished first with a time of 5:41.800, and while no other times were recorded the finishing order was: Wisconsin (2nd), Princeton (3rd), Brown (4th), Yale (5th), Penn (6th) and Dartmouth (7th).
