    Yale's Heavyweight Crew looks to continue its historic season when it crosses the pond for the 179th Henley Royal Regatta on the Thames River in England. Racing begins Wednesday, July 4, at 2 pm GMT (9 am EST). Racing spans from July 4 to July 8.
  • Yale 1V, Gladstone Take IRA Honors

    The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) announced the recipients of the regatta’s post-season awards. The member coaches selected all three national champion crews and head coaches as the Crews and Coaches of the Year. On the heavyweight side it was Yale’s Varsity Eight and Craig W. Johnson ’68 Head Coach Steve Gladstone taking home the honors.
  • Spring Academic All-Ivy Announced

    The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2018-19 Academic All-Ivy honors in its spring sports today, and 10 Bulldogs were recognized. The 80 men and women honored from the eight league schools were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominated five men and five women from its eligible student-athletes.

The Bulldogs, who never trailed in nation’s longest race, a 4-miler on the Thames River, beat Harvard by 3 boat lengths to capture the Yale-Harvard Regatta.
