Before coming to Yale, Dominique Fenton was a competitive
swimmer. He started swimming at an early age and began training
with the Santa Barbara Swim Club full-time at the age of twelve. In
high school he continued to train and compete with SBSC while also
competing for his high school team during season. He swam for Santa
Barbara High School's varsity squad for all four years and was team
captain his senior year. Instead of swimming at Yale, Dominique
chose to row. Dominique is a senior in Berkeley College. He is a
History major. He is French-American and has trained with the
French rowing club Aviron Marne et Joinville.
