At Regis, James was a National Merit Finalist and was also awarded an IBM Watson Scholarship. Over the summer he worked as a lab technician in the Neurology department at Columbia University. James is currently a sophomore in Branford College. After Yale, he hopes to pursue a career in medicine. His brother Peter graduated from Columbia in 2007, and his father rowed for the Columbia crew team.
