Windmere Collegiate Crew Classic Results

The Bulldogs fell twice to California and twice to Princeton at the 2nd Annual Windmere Collegiate Crew Classic, held in Redwood Shores, California.

The Varsity Eight boat took on Cal first in the 2000-meter race, but Cal beat the Elis to the bridge (1150 meters) and went on the defeat the Elis by a time of 5:50.32 to Yale's 5:53.05. Later, the Varsity Eights competed against Ivy League opponent Princeton, finishing in a time of 5:59.37 that could not match up to Princeton's time of 5:51.20.

The second Varsity Eight boat had a similar fate, facing California first and coming in second with a time of 6:07.24 to California's 5:55.44. Against Princeton, the Elis rowed across the finish line in a time of 6:17.66, while the Tigers got there in 6:09.00.

The Bulldogs will row against Stanford tomorrow to round out the competition.
