No. 14 Yale Heads to New York in Search of Blackwell Cup

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Bulldogs will face Columbia and Penn in search of the Blackwell Cup on Saturday in Orchard Beach, N.Y. Last year, the Bulldogs won three out of four races at the Gilder Boathouse against the two Ivy opponents, but fell in the varsity eight to hand over the Blackwell Cup to the Lions for the first time in sixty-seven years.
The third varsity will race Penn at 6:10 p.m. The Yale freshmen will race Columbia and Penn at 6:30 p.m. The junior varsity will follow at 6:50 p.m. The varsity race for the Blackwell Cup will get started at 7:10 in the evening.

6:10 - Third Varsity vs. Penn
6:30 - Freshman Eight vs. Penn and Columbia
6:50 - Second Varsity vs. Penn and Columbia
7:10 - Varsity vs. Penn and Columbia
