Lake Mercer, N. J. - The first day of the IRA Championships was a successful one for the Y150, as a coxed four made up of lightweight oarsmen racing in the heavyweight varsity four advanced to the semifinals following a second-place finish in its heat. Yale finished with a time of 6:28.951, two seconds behind Wisconsin and 11 seconds ahead of third-place finisher Temple. Holy Cross, Drexel, and Loyola rounded out the heat. The four's lineup is made up of Adam Lukasiewicz, Colin Corcoran, Michael LeFevour, Michael Jonas, and coxswain Regina DeLuna.
The Bulldogs resume racing tomorrow at 10:00.
