The Bulldogs won the Joy Cup Saturday afternoon, defeating Boston College and MIT on the Housatonic River. The varsity boat finished in 5:42.9, nearly five seconds better than the second place Eagles. MIT finished third with a time of 6:08.4.
In the second varsity race, both Yale's second and third varsity boats competed and finished first and second respectively. The second varsity finished with a time of 5:53.2.
Yale also won the freshman race.
Varsity: Yale - 5:42.9, BC - 5:47.5, MIT - 6:08.4
2nd Varsity: Yale - 5:53.2, Yale 3V - 6:04.2, BC - 6:16.4
Freshman: Yale - 5:59.7, MIT - 6:22.3
