CAMDEN, N.J. - The second day of racing at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championships is over, and the Bulldog's freshman eight and varsity fours are through to the finals. The varsity eight will race their semifinal and final on Saturday.
The varsity fours without coxswain started the day off for the lightweights. After yesterday's heats, Yale's "A" boat was automatically sent to Saturday's grand final, but the "B" boat had to race in the repechages. The top two boats in each repechage moved on to the grand final while the bottom three were placed in the petite final. Yale finished in second place behind Wisconsin.
