The men's fencing team dispatched Vassar Saturday with a 21-6 win in Payne Whitney Gym. The Bulldogs' scheduled meet against Rutgers was postponed due to inclement weather that is set to hit the region.

In sabre, Matthew Chaiken earned a 3-0 sweep, while Harry Flaster won both bouts he entered, as did Christopher Peterson. Christopher Sinay dropped Yale's only loss for the 8-1 win in that weapon.

Yale had another 8-1 win in epee, with Will Tauxe winning twice, John Beski earning all three victories, and James Rohrbach grabbing two wins. Steve Miller also earned a win for the Elis.

The only close match came in foil, where Yale eked out a 5-4 win against the visitors. Cory Werk and Nathan Elchert each won twice, and Michael Aboodi contributed the fifth and deciding victory for Yale.

The Bulldogs are set to travel to NYU for an invitational tomorrow, but weather conditions may preclude the trip. Stay posted for details.
