Elis Fall to Columbia 20-7

Sophomore fencer John Beski won all three of his bouts in epee, but the Elis were defeated by Columbia 20-7 in New York.

In epee, Yale was led by Beski to a 6-3 win against the Lions. Will Tauxe went 2-1, while James Rohrbach's record on the day was 1-2.

In foil, two Lions went 3-0 as the Elis were bested 8-1. Cory Werk picked up Yale's lone victory in that weapon.

The Elis were swept in sabre, with all three Columbians earning 3-0 sweeps.

Yale will travel to Cambridge next weekend to take on Harvard, Princeton, and Duke.
