Bulldogs slide past Rutgers 14-13

The Yale men's fencers closed out their regular season Sunday afternoon with a win over Rutgers 14-13.

John Belski won all three of his epee matches. James Rorbach won two of his three matches to give the Bulldogs a 5-4 victory in the event.

Yale struggled in the saber, losing 6 matches. Christopher Peterson had a strong showing, winning two matches.

The Bulldogs sealed the close victory with a 6-3 win in the foil event. Cory Werk won all three of his matches, and Nathan Elchert won two to give Yale the win.

The Bulldogs' next meet will be next weekend's Junior Olympics.
