Bulldogs Fall to Duke, Harvard and Princeton

Princeton, NJ - Yale lost three matches at Princeton, falling to the Tigers 17-10, Harvard 17-10 and Duke 18-9. Against Princeton, Yale took epee 5-4 but lost 6-3 in foil and 7-2 in sabre. Cory Werk won all three of his bouts in the sabre. Against Harvard, Yale lost epee 5-4, foil 6-3 and sabre 6-3. Against Duke, with many substitutions as Yale saved its fencers for Harvard and Princeton, the Elis fell 18-9. They lost epee 5-4, foil 6-3 and sabre 7-2.
