Yale Competes in 33rd Penn State Garret Open

University Park, PA - The Yale men's fencing team competed in the 33rd Penn State Garret Open. Steve Miller '08 was 27th in the epee division, Christopher Sinay '06 was 31st in the saber division, and Chie-yu Lin '06 was 35th in the foil division.

In men's saber, Sinay was 31st out of a field of 44 competitors. Bradley Broadhead '08 was 35th in saber and Max Blum `09 was 38th.

Lin '06 was 35th out of 57 in men's foil. Kawing Cho `07 was 42nd and James Yin `07 was 50th. Michael Aboodi '07 placed 56th in foil.

In men's epee, Miller was 27th out of 51 competitors, followed by John Beski '07 who came in 28th. George London '08 was 32nd and D Albina placed 46th.

The Bulldogs return to action on Nov. 29, when they host NYU in New Haven.
