Fans Should Consider Shuttle System
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Athletics Department announced today that all parking passes for this Saturday's football game with Harvard have been sold out.
More than 5,000 parking spaces were sold for the Nov. 19 game at Yale Bowl and the Class of '54 Field. The lots open for parking at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, and parking passes will not only be required to enter a Yale lot, they are needed to get past perimeter check points well before reaching the Bowl area.
Fans who want to attend The Game but did not get a parking pass can use a free, game day shuttle system set up with multiple parking points in New Haven. This system was first implemented in 2009 and received rave reviews from fans along with Yale and city officials.
A crowd of better than 50,000 is expected for The Game, and the sunny, mild weather forecast could enhance the walk-up. The ticket office at the Bowl, located in Reese Stadium, opens at 10 a.m.
