Traffic Advisory for the Yale-Harvard Game

New Haven, Conn. Fans traveling to New Haven for the November 23rd Yale-Harvard game at Yale Bowl are urged to follow published directions to parking lots due to a traffic shift for those traveling northbound on I-95. Please allow ample time for travel since delays are likely.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced a Traffic Shift for the Q Bridge/I-95 Corridor Project beginning Friday, November 22nd at 10 PM to Saturday, November 23rd at 3 PM.  The construction activities will occur between Exit 44, Kimberly Avenue, and Exit 48, 1-91 Northbound, and will cause significant traffic delays. More information regarding this shift can be found here.

Directions for each specific lot can be found here. We encourage fans to follow the published directions and plan to arrive well in advance of game time. Parking lots open at 8:00 AM and the stadium gates open at 10:30 AM.

This traffic shift does not effect fans traveling south on I-91 or I-95, or the Merritt Parkway. However additional motorists might use these routes as alternatives. Please be reminded that the Merritt Parkway does not allow commercial vehicles.

All lots at the Yale Bowl are pre-sold. No game day parking sales will be available on game day.  To accommodate fans who do not wish to park at the Bowl, or are not able to purchase a parking pass, Yale has partnered with the City of New Haven and the New Haven Parking Authority to provide parking options downtown and FREE shuttle service. Directions to these parking garages can be found here.
