Graham, Marback On First Team

DANBURY, Conn. – Five players on the 2017 Ivy League Champion Yale Football Team were named All-ECAC today. TE Jaeden Graham and OL Kark Marback were first-team picks, while Matthew Oplinger, Zane Dudek and John Herubin took second-team honors.

These five helped the Bulldogs go 9-1 overall and win the school's first outright league championship in 37 years.

Graham, Marback and Dudek led a Yale offense that averaged 34.5 points with 450.7 yards per game (12th in FCS) behind a veteran offensive line blocking for a sophomore quarterback and mostly rookie running back, including Dudek.

Yale, which, was fourth in the nation in sacks with a 3.9 average, allowed just 15.6 points per game (8th in the FCS) behind the leadership of Oplinger and Herubin. The Bulldogs amped up the defense at home, allowing only 16 points over the last four games at Yale Bowl, including the 24-3 win over Harvard on Nov. 18.
