Seniors from Championship Team Making Impact

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Three members of Yale's 2017 Ivy League Championship Team are currently competing to make the final rosters for a pair of National Football League Teams.

Here is a quick look at the three former All-Ivy League Bulldogs.

Foyesade Oluokun

LB, Atlanta Falcons

He has had an immensely successful pre-season with the Falcons. Drafted with the 200th pick by Atlanta, he was converted from safety to linebacker as a college senior. According to reports, his athleticism and physicality fit well in head coach Dan Quinn's style. In a week one loss to the Jets, he recorded 3 total tackles and posted the highest PFF (Pro Football Focus) rating of any Falcons defender at 88.6. In a week two loss to the Chiefs, he recorded 1 tackle.

LB, Arizona Cardinals

After helping his team to a week one win against the Chargers (24-17) with one tackle, Oplinger, the 2017 Ivy Defensive Player of the Year did not get credit for any stops in a week two win vs New Orleans (20-15). The Cardinals are now 2-0 in pre-season play.
