Metzler, 27, is in his fourth season working with the Yale football team, but his third as an assistant coach. In 2003 he served as the video coordinator. He handles the Bulldog tight ends and assists with the offensive line, while keeping his role as video coordinator. Metzler is a 2002 Yale graduate who was a four-year starter and two-time All-Ivy offensive guard. Metzler anchored the offensive line for the 1999 Ivy League Championship team. He brings an astute knowledge of the game to the Yale offensive. Metzler is single and lives in New Haven.
