Recruits Shine in All-Star Action

Two future Yale football players provided some thrills for the local fans Thursday night, as Mike McLeod ran for 142 yards and one touchdown and Ryan Fodor added two first-half touchdown passes for Connecticut in a 24-10 win over Rhode Island in the annual Governor's Cup game. McLeod was named offensive MVP and was joined in the awards ceremony by Yale assistant coach Larry Ciotti (Ciotti, the head coach at Hand of Madison from 1970-88, had the MVP award named after him). Several other Bulldog recruits have recently taken part in all-star games. Here is a look:
