NEW HAVEN, Conn. - This Saturday prior to the Yale vs. Holy Cross football game, the Yale Athletics Department will host its annual Fall Youth Day. The day begins with sports clinics led by Yale student-athletes at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Youth Day Fair at 10:30 a.m. All events are FREE to children 14 and younger, including food and drinks provided by Yale Athletics and admission to the football game at 12:30 p.m.
The sports clinics take place on the X/Y fields next to Yale Field, the Bulldogs' baseball field, across Derby Avenue (Rte. 34) from the Yale Bowl. The Youth Day Fair takes place in the Hospitality Village area, the field in front of the main entrance to the Yale Bowl.

Exhibits for the Yale Athletics Youth Day Fair include an inflatable Seaweed Monster Maze and Bouncy House. Plus, the CT Defenders baseball team and Bridgeport Sound Tigers ice hockey team will provide games for kids of all ages and the Mystic Aquarium is bringing its traveling interactive sea creatures exhibit.
As part of Youth Day, four youth football teams will have the chance to play at the Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field. Wexler Grant takes on Roberto Clemente at 9:00 a.m., while Branford plays Old Saybrook after the Yale-Holy Cross game.
