Bulldogs, Fans Help "Fill the Bowl"

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - For the past 10 seasons, Yale Athletics has teamed up with News Channel 8, 99 Rock WPLR, and the New Haven Register to collect non-perishable food items, frozen turkeys, and money at The Game against Harvard to help the Connecticut Food Bank feed those in need this holiday season. This past Saturday, with 53,213 fans on hand, the Bulldogs had yet another impressive display of generosity.
Saturday's donations included:
- 303 Turkeys
- 1,022 pounds of food
Thanks to the generosity of these fans, Connecticut Food Bank will be able to provide approximately 50,350 meals to people in need in Connecticut.
Fans who donated non-perishable food items, frozen turkeys, or $12 to the Connecticut Food Bank received two free general admission tickets to The Game compliments of Yale Athletics, News Channel 8, 99 Rock WPLR, and the Connecticut Food Bank.
