High School: Hatten attended high school at Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, Conn., where he played four years of golf. He captained his team, while also compiling the lowest scoring average on the team. His senior year, he medaled in tournaments five times. He also came in third place at the Kingswood Oxford Invitational with a round of 72. Hatten won the Coaches Award his freshman and sophomore year and followed it up with the MVP award his junior and senior year. Academically, he made the high honor roll and received a PSAT National Merit Scholarship Commendation. Personal: Hatten is a member of Morse College. He intends to major in economics, but is still undecided on a career path. Hatten is a bit unusual as a golfer, in that he swings lefty, but putts righty. His father Mark attended Marquette, while his mother Linda attended Tufts. Hatten has two brothers, Mike and Charlie. Mike graduated from Clemson in 2000, and Charlie currently attends Boston College.
