Yale Men Earn GCAA All-Academic Status
NORMAN, Okla. – Yale Men's Golf has been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team for the 2009-10 season.
The Bulldogs earned this honor by achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligibility for the award hinges on the submission of grades earned and hours attempted for each player on official rosters for the academic year.
A total of 113 squads made the GCAA All-Academic Team. Yale was one of three Ivy League schools to make the list.
The recognition comes on the heels of a successful season for the Bulldogs. The men's team won three tournaments and finished runner-up at the Ivy League Championships.
The fall season kicks off September 11th.
