Yale in 2nd After Opening Round

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Following 18 holes of play at the Ivy League Championship, the Yale men's golf team is eight strokes off the lead heading into Saturday's second round. The Bulldogs carded a 12-over, 296 but Princeton leads the field with its four-over, 288 while Cornell is in third at 15-over. Sophomore Paul Stankey leads all Elis with his even 71 which placed him in fourth place while senior and captain James Nicholas and sophomore Teddy Zinsner also sit among the top 10 players on the individual leaderboard.
