EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The Yale men's golf took third place at the 2019 Ivy League Championship after the Bulldogs carded a seven-over, 291 in Sunday's third and final round. Despite finishing at 25-over for the tournament, the Elis fell to first-place Princeton by two strokes and trailed second-place Columbia by one stroke.
On the individual leaderboard, senior and captain James Nicholas finished as medalist with a two-over, 215 while sophomore Teddy Zinsner tied for third with 218. With the team victory, Princeton earned a regionals bid for the 2019 NCAA Men's Golf Championship while Nicholas and Zinsner will look to compete at NCAAs as individuals.
