Bulldogs In 5th After First Day In Maryland

Westover, MD - After the first round of play at the Lacrosse Homes Collegiate Invitational, the Yale men's golf team is tied for 5th place out of 21 teams.

Although windy conditions kept scores high for most of the field, the Bulldogs shot 299 and are only six shots back of leader St. John's University.

Ben Wescoe and Colby Moore both shot 73 and are tied for 8th place to lead the Bulldogs.

Taylor Hakes (76, T29), Mark Matza (77, T44) and Joseph Potter (87, T100) are also competing for Yale.

Play concludes tomorrow with the first group teeing off at 8:00 AM and the final group at 10:40 AM.
