Crisfield, MD - The Bulldogs shot 298 on the second day of the Drew Upton Classic in Crisfield, MD, giving them a two-round total of 591 and dropping them four spots to finish in 12th place. The University of Richmond shot 576 and won the tournament, finishing five strokes ahead of runner-up Western Kentucky University.
Rick Reissman led all Yale scorers, and tied for 13th place overall, after shooting two consecutive rounds of 72 over the weekend. Mark Matza (147, T34th), Taylor Hakes (148, T37th), Colby Moore (152, T71st), and Andrew Denenberg (171, 115th) also competed for the Elis.
The Bulldogs hope to turn things around next weekend when they play host to the Yale Spring Opener at the Course at Yale. The tournament will be the first hosted by a Yale team this Spring.
