Yale in 12th Place at Adams Cup

Newport, R.I. - Yale fell to 12th place out of 16 teams after the second round of the Adams Cup of Newport Cleveland Golf Classic at Newport National Golf Club. The Bulldogs had been in ninth place after the first round, but struggled during the second 18 holes on Monday. Texas A&M registered a team score of 603 and sits in first place going into the final round of play.

Bulldog freshman Colby Moore currently leads all Yale scorers with an 11-over 155, tying him for 24th place.

After Moore, Yale's Mark Matza shot a 13-over 157 to tie him for 36th place. Taylor Hakes (164, T 62nd), Dan Levy (167, T 71st), and Rick Reissman (168, T 73rd) also competed for the Bulldogs.

The tournament concludes with the final round of play on Tuesday.
