After two rounds of play at The Course at Yale, the Elis stand in seventh place overall at the MacDonald Cup. Rick Reissman shot a 72 and 74 to finish tied for sixth going into the final round of play.

Steve Gray and Andrew Vitt each shot a cumulative 149, tying them for 13th overall, while Dan Levy finished with a 150, good for 19th overall.

Mark Matza, Matthew Goodman, and Andrew Denenberg stand tied for 44th with a 156 over two rounds, and Chris Holmes and Joe Potter each shot a 161. Corey Lomas rounded out Yale's team with a 164.

Reissman, Gray, Matza, Holmes, and Potter are grouped together in the Yale I team that is in seventh overall with 608 strokes, while the other Bulldogs are currently in eighth place on the Yale II team with a score of 611.

Binghamton University leads competition with a score of 591, while Rhode Island and Hartford are second and third in the 15-team field.
